Is there a way to search individual profiles rather than just browse? There seems to be no logical order to the browse option.

None that I have been able to figure out. The names that appear first in that index are either new profiles or ones that have been recently updated.

Many members opt out of the index because it exposes you to spammers, and I don't think it was ever fully enabled on Delphi to serve as a way to search for members with common interests. (and to top that off the profile does not even include a "What is your favorite bug?" area!)
