It seems that you can't edit or delete a post made on your thread so:

Is there a way to delete someone's post on my thread that I don't want on it.

While can delete/edit your own posts and start a thread these forums are designed for other members to comment on open discussions. Only the Host and staff can control what else is posted.

You can set Ignore in members' profiles, that way you won't see their posts.

Make sure the host knows about the post - sometimes spammers will jump in on established threads to avoid detection.
