Every time I enter Delphi it says 3 new messages. Please correct this.

Have you checked My Inbox,  are they showing there? The tab is on MyForums https://forums.delphiforums.com/myforums

Strange. Has it been showing that for a while and where does it tell you?

I see you logging in several  times recently. Log in from our frontpage the next time. Any link you use should have https,  not just http. 

Answer to 1st question. It's been showing for about a year or more.

I just came in through https and it still shows. It just won't go away.

Just to clarify, let me check a detail or two. If you go to https://forums.delphiforums.com while already logged in, there are two numbers in small squares in the upper righthand corner representing forum and private unread messages, does the three appear in the left or right hand number? If you click on the dropdown arrow to the right of the two numbers, select the appropriate follow-up menu, Private messages or Forum Msgs. What do you  see next?

The number 3 is followed by new Private Messages to me

Again, when you click on the dropdown menu to the right of the numbers and then click on Private Messages and Notices, what do you see next? It should display any private messages still in the system for you. If it gives nothing, they probably disappeared unread at some point, and there is nothing we can do about it.

Do you use Private Messages here much?

If not shoot me (or someone) a couple and I'll reply to see if that is the online version of "jiggling the handle" and it resolves the problem.
