Even though I have visited this forum only 1 time, it keeps showing up on my recent list as if have visited again. I have deleted it from that list numerous times, yet it keeps showing up again and again . . .

One possibility is that you keep viewing graphics stored in those forums.

Was thinking along the same lines - an improperly coded sig file being viewed in some other forum that visit . . . have ran into that before . . .

That's an odd one - can you delete from your recently viewed list and let me know if you see it pop up again?

I could see that in the RR forum but not Ed's - I'll take a quick look at the RR forum and see if I can help, it's been unintentional in 100% of the cases I track down if that helps lol

You only show as having visited this (webtag trainnews) forum once. Sept 8 and your last visit to the overpopulation one was Jan 7th of this year.

That's a little weird.

I don't think that's it. I know sometimes odd bookmarks can lead to old pages loading instead of fresh. Login cookies that don;t get refreshed can also lead to some oddities. Not sure in this case of course.

Yup, did that two or three times . . . then reloaded page and there they were again . . .

Thus then did a hard reset, so ta say, logging out and in a couple of times . . . haven't been to any other forums other than my own and this one (where there are no sigs) since doing so and they have remained off my recent list. Will try and remember to check after visiting any forums, to see if the pop up again . . .

Remember, some time back (couple years ago) I had a improperly coded sig and in the Hosts forum it caused the same problem. Couple of members noticed it and it was yourself that figured it out. Thus removed the improper coding potion of the sig and it stopped the problem.

That is why suspected it had something to do with an improper coded sig. (or other graphic) They visit a forum (where sigs are allowed) and someone simply viewing their sig causes the forum to show up as having visited, when in fact there had not been a visit . . .
