I am the host/manager of a private forum.  I am getting a message that I am not a member of the forum.  I have a text box to send a message to the manger to request membership but I can't send a invitation to myself because I cannot get in.  At least one other person is having the same problems.  We've been members of this forum since the very first day.  

We are able to access the forum on our phones.  Not on the computers.  What can I do!?

This is what I see.  It's a private forum.  I can get into other forums with no problems.  This forum was started by someone else but he has become blind and unable to handle it anymore so he turned it over to me at least a year ago.  I've not had any problems. I've not made any changes to the forum.  I am able to get into it on my phone but i can't do anything, like send an email to the other member who is unable to get in.  I'm at a loss.  

I've tried logging out and logging back in.  Still nothing.

The Host's DelphiPlus ran out. It takes DelphiPlus to have a working Private forum.

Are you still in touch ?

Yes.  We are still in touch.  He is now blind and cannot see enough to get on the computer.  I'm not sure if there is anyone to help him where he lives. (Assisted living)  I was told I could gift plus to him in order to keep the forum going for now, and we could deal with ownership later.  

I thought we had that all taken care of a year or so ago. He was turning it over to me and we thought my Plus account would now work, but apparently something was not right there.  Thanks for your help.  I will call him and get this figured out.  

On my phone I am able to get in, read, comment.  I was also able to send myself an invitation but when I typed in my email and user name I got a message saying those were already in use.  I can't do anything on the computer because I just get the "you are not a member......" message.

You can do gifting through his Profile. Depending on the members and the messages in the forum you could also open a new forum from scratch and make that Private since you're DelphiPlus.

You'll may lose access on mobile as well when clearing browsing/cookies.

I gifted Rich the  membership and we were all able to get in right away.  However, My own account is going to be paid on Monday.  So I'm paying twice. 

I am positive that we went through the giving me his password and had me go in as him and transfer the forum over to myself.  I see on his profile that the last time he came to the forum was December 31, 2021.  So that was well over a year ago and I am positive that it worked last year when my account was renewed.  So I don't know what happened this time.  

Is there any way you can fix this so my own membership works for his.  I actually own a couple of other forums that aren't used that I could make into new forums for us ladies, but we would not want to use 24 years of history at Rich's forum.  

Look at the Change Log in Controls to see what was set.

If he can send a note to service@delphiforums.com to transfer the forum that would help.
