Greetings, (KidMagnet referred me to you for assistance)

Sometime back, I attached a file to the HOSs and ZZs ... in Excel Spreadsheet thread that Jenifer linked to the Index thread. That thread is located here: http://forums.delphiforums.com/midnightcastle/messages/2402/1

Because someone added content to that file and then posted that file (in the same thread), I deleted the Excel Spreadsheet. This is the only file I've ever uploaded, and I assumed when the file was deleted that my ability to attach a single document would return to my permissions. That has not been the case.

Is there some way my profile can be corrected to show I  have not attached a file so I can now attach a file in a different thread?

Thank you for your assistance..... AEGram

The only file I uploaded was in the HOSs and ZZs ... in Excel Spreadsheet thread that is linked on the Index thread Jenifer created. That Excel spreadsheet was long ago removed, so I assumed my quota would have gone back to zero. It apparently has not.

I've reset your attachment space. Let us know if it's still a problem.

Note DelphiBasic members have only 512k available.

Thank you so much. It's just a 31.5 kb .doc file, so it should be no problem at all. (In .docx format, it's even smaller but some people can't open those files.)

Now that I know it "should" work, I'll start the process of moving several posts forward so I can insert the comment on which the file will be uploaded.

Edited to add....hopefully, I'll also remember your instructions to the post "Help, Attaching files!!" for attaching an image.

(In this case, though, I want people to easily be able to pull down a copy of the document for their records.)
