I host the vstar 1300 page and we recently have acquired this spam overlay on our homepage.   http://forums.delphiforums.com/vstar1300

I could use some help removing it.

thanks

It seems the background image you are using does that.

Is the person that originally designed the page still around? I think the site they hosted something at has expired. If you cannot get the image another way you can post all your Start page info plus the other two images this way.  Let me know if you need more help.

Using any browser other than IE highlight and copy all the html codes below these instructions. Now go to your forum Controls and click on Forum Customization and then on Start Page.

Click the icon on that Start Page editor that looks like this <> it will say SHOW SOURCE when you hover over it.

Delete everything you see and then paste in the stuff you copied from here. Click update and check your Start Page (I have the html saved if you mess up, plus it is saved in your Controls change log)

If you don't feel comfortable trying this or you only have IE I can do it for you. But give it a shot first - you have nothing to lose!
