I hate it!! Hate what you did to PM page! Can't find anything!

I was using it every day but won't be using it any more.

I wish you would leave things alone!

Hi Paula -

We've made some changes, that's true. All of your PMs are grouped into Conversations with other users. To see messages you've exchanged with a user, open the Conversation with them, and both your messages and theirs will all show. It's similar to how text messaging on your phone works, and is laid out in the same way.

Newest unread messages show at the top, the Conversations will switch around depending on if there are unread messages in them.

You can also delete an entire Conversation with a user.

Thanks for the explanation CStar I do appreciate it but I wish they would stop fixing things that are not broken.

Even text messaging allows you the option to delete some or all of a conversation.  This change does not. So it appears Delphi is taking the easy way out and not allowing the user any option ......... it's all or nothing.  It's a total disaster!

Honestly? Old deleted messages are there again? We need to be able to freeze (or save) one (or more) message in the conversation. Just like texts on our phones. It's great to be able to delete an entire conversation, but now we can't save part of one? Why would you do that to us?

Hi Cstar -

Where does the conversation go once you've read it . . . have clicked on the new button for a few and then they disappear. How does one open up a previous conversation and continue it . . .

Also, in the compose box there is no way to drop a line for a new paragraph now. If you hit, as in the old PM format, the enter button it posts what one has already written. That is going to take some getting used to . . .

Not a happy camper with this new format . . . let alone ticked there was no notice or any chance for members to give any input before a change.

Edit: Disregard on where the convo's go . . . just found them at the very bottom of even old ones that thought had deleted . . .

You are at least the second person to mention this but I am not seeing it at all. Are you sure the actual messages are reappearing and it is not the conversation is there with those messages deleted? THAT I have noticed - makes for some hilarious reading lol

I AGREE!

Sorry for shouting but I end up sending 4 or 5 PMs when I could have sent one.

@Cstar - to my lengthy requests <grin> may I suggest that Shift Enter works to drop down one line and does not Send. Please and thank you!
