The CW announced a bunch of renewals today. These shows will all be back next season:

Arrow
Black Lightning
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
DC's Legends of Tomorrow
Dynasty
The Flash
Jane the Virgin
Riverdale
Supergirl
Supernatural

So far the only cancellation appears to be Valor, and The Originals is in its final season. No word on Life Sentence, but it's probably doomed. The fates of The 100 and iZombie will be determined later (both are likely renewals).

Dynasty? I missed that one.

You're not the only one who missed the reboot of Dynasty. The show is averaging an anemic 0.2 18-49 rating, and has hit 0.1 a few times since moving to Friday. The only reason I can imagine it got a second season is because of strong international sales (Netflix does the international distribution.)

That could be the reason, although CW doesn’t compete with the big ones.

I like iZombie, but with the way things are
going on the show, I don't see how they
will be able to stay in Seattle.

With Supergirl, The Flash, Legends and
Arrow all coming back, I see more
crossover episodes. I like it when they
do that.

May I ask why, it was moved from
Wednesday Nights to Friday? I tried
watching it, when it first started, but
didn't like that it wasn't taking place
in the same city as before.

When a show moves to Friday, it's usually being dumped there because of low ratings. That's certainly true of Dynasty, but The CW also wanted to give Life Sentence a chance on Wednesday (unfortunately it hasn't done any better).

The CW has made it easy on me, already having made decisions on most of its shows...

Already renewed:

Arrow
Black Lightning
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
DC's Legends of Tomorrow
Dynasty
The Flash
Jane the Virgin

Riverdale
Supergirl
Supernatural

Already canceled/ending:

The Originals
Valor

Fates still up in the air:

Life Sentence (low rated new show, it's probably dead)
iZombie (ratings are fine, should be back)

The 100 (hasn't premiered yet, fate unknown)

Is Black Lightning, part of the same
crowd as D.C, Supergirl, The Flash
and Arrow? If it is, I would hope that
they are included in any Crossover
events those shows do.

Yep, Black Lightning is part of The CW's DC universe. Here are the shows, all from producer Greg Berlanti:

Arrow
The Flash
Supergirl
Legends of Tomorrow
Black Lightning

Berlanti also produces Riverdale, which means he is responsible for 6 of The CW's top 7 shows (he is not involved with Supernatural, which is #2).
