I'm going to have to go back and catch up on this show. It's pretty cute.
I see a favorite of mine: Annie Potts is playing the grandmother. She is such a card. I love her characters, from way back to Pretty in Pink. She is great here too.
I tried and could not get into it. Th children are good actors, but they used a lot of ad language or rude comments in the first episode,
I don't watch it for the same reasons you mentioned.
I tried. The children are awfully cute.
The setting is somewhat familiar. I live near and am familiar with the culture. It's sanitized but enough like the real thing.
The couple doesn't seem that much like the way the mom describes it in BBT. She is ranting about him and belittling him.
But in Young Sheldon the dad is lovable, relaxed, not too smart. But the couple seems to get along okay.
