I do not.  I don't know how to can....and I have plenty of freezer space and a generator, soooo no real need to can.

I use mason jars for dry storage....and leftovers.  They're way way better than plastic...

Woot Indeed!

I may have my first grand niece today! Found out last night my niece went into labor

Since temps and humidity is lower than it’s been, I threw open windows this morning trying to air the damn sickness out of this house!
started a wash, let dog out and fed her. I’ll unload dishwasher in a bit

we totally messed up days and missed both garbage and recycling this week - oh well tomorrow is another garbage pickup and we can bring recycling to center if needed

Took out the frozen ground chicken I had in my freezer. Not sure what I’ll make with it. Meatballs?

Cut yourself some slack...you've been sick.  and it's not like trash goes bad...it's kinda already that way.

Yes I love mason jars. I use them for freezing bone broth and leftovers plus DHs overnight oats. They tend to crack in the freezer if I overfill them though so I need to be careful

Try wide mouth jars...no shoulders so the ice can expand without cracking

They’ve been tough to find but just saw a pallet a few weeks back and scooped it up! So I’m back in business
