Slept great for the second night in a row....which feels amazing.  Today's big task/errand is to head to this little specialty grocery to pick up some weird ingredients I'm low on.  Going with a couple of girlfriends who have never been and are unsure of the place.  I don't get that concept but hey...it's fine if they want to tag along.

Lunch is leftovers for dh and I may defrost the last beet patty for a wrap for myself.  Dinner I have some hot italian sausages and a pizza dough...so I'll add in some peppers and onions and make a meaty cheesy loaf.  Simple and easy

Probably will make another overnight oats for tomorrow's breakfast (mine)...thinking strawberry.  Dh prefers his eggs.

No crossfit today....but I'll do a pliability workout and an extra long dog walk to check that exercise box off.

Woke up to the First snow of the season- a dusting really & only on the grass & trees

DD had major roomie drama last night, campus safety was called & she spent the night with friends in another apartment on campus. Waiting on pins & needles to hear how that all flushes out - will they move the one psycho or do the other 3 girls who have already suffered her have to suffer more? 

Morning routine underway - DH left me a special project of a greasy uniform shirt to add to laundry tasks and it’s sprayed & soaking, dog’s been out & fed, kitchen tbd

It’s Tuesday so Plan & Play day - I should make my hair appointment. Considering doing a blended gray. Have to see if she’s up to it.

zone mission is dirty dishes - dh left some in the sink from his lunch prep in the wee hours, but not a lot to deal with 

workout - may do some time on the bike & listen to an audio book or watch a video 

dog walk

need to prep the dish I’m bringing for tonight’s dinner with sister, BIL, SILnephews & nieces and baby grand niece! Do I prep it early & bring it cold for reheat there? Or bring it hot ish? Decisions - think it will depend on time

What’s your secret for the sleeping greatness? I seem to only get enough & sleep well when I take Melatonin now. But I wake up groggy/foggy and I’ve read if you take it too much & too often your body will stop producing any of your own. So I take it maybe once or twice a week

What?

You know it has tons of medicinal uses...and sleep issues are one of them.  5 mg edible and I sleep through the night, like a baby, and wake up rested and not groggy.

I’ve heard of the medicinal purposes - many people in my AIP group use it for pain management as well. Didn’t think of it for a sleeping aid.  I may need to try it again and see if it helps me

It's pretty awesome for pain too...I have a wonderful lemongrass salve with THC....smells amazing and just stops pain dead.
