Another rainy day.

DD has early class today so she’s up. Hoping that means I can get the kitchen finished early or at least before lunch? DH is doing a double.

Laundry is going & dog has been delt with. Including a good rub down and sleeping in front of fan to dry her off. Glad I didn’t mop floors yesterday.

DH found the butcher box on the porch at 4am & brought it in. Who knows how long it was out there. Never heard the delivery & last I saw it was not even in the state. Ugh. So unpacked. Bacon is defrosted but still cold. 1 ground pork & 2 small Steaks were partially defrosted. So I’ll make breakfast patties with the pork and steaks are whats for dinner tonight.

It’s Prime day (or days) so I’ll check out and see if anything is worth it.

Think I’ll finally get to Kohls today. Really want to check out the new Trader Joe’s that opened in the next town but will see how I feel.

Mission

I’ll make my dentist appointment & DD’s well visit appointment (she can do it now that she’s in town). At what age do they stop going to pediatrician?

Zone 3: Mission #2 Tuesday
Dear Friends: Today we are going to shine our tubs or showers! We have talked about shinning our sinks since you started and we want you take 5 or 10 minutes to shine that tub or shower. Do not get obsessed with the tub being perfect. You can do this mission while you are in the shower, just scrub the tub with whatever works. Anything is better than nothing, then spritz it with a little windex and dry it with a towel like you shine your sink.
On to the guest bedroom! Today we are going to tackle the bed and get it company ready. If you need to tackle this 15 or 10 minutes at a time that is fine, don't burn out. Now, if the bed is already clean ask yourself "how long has it been since the sheets have been washed?" We are coming into the holidays soon, and I am so excited. Let's rid ourselves of the stress of having to rush, and have this bedroom ready for your loved ones.
Babysteps, set your timer for 15 minutes!

It's raining.  Cold and rainy.  Yuck.

Dd's first class was canceled....she's furious, she got up and all set and 5 min before class, they canceled.  I told her imagine if you were on campus...LOL.  She was not amused.

Dh is on calls most of the day.  Thank GOD.  I need a break from him.

I have a dentist appt that I need to leave for in a bit.

Need to turn on the mail at the duplex....i've been stalling til dh got the mailbox up which he did last week.

Need to pull week money for the next few weeks from the bank.

and then the usual....gonna skip a workout and just do romwod, bridge pose and yoga tonight.

Piano practice

walgreens challenge

dog claws and bowls...hoping the new sanding discs are at the PO

need to check on the figs I'm drying....and maybe try ripening the unripe ones....i found a procedure involving boiling?!?

And then back to the low fruit list....it's seriously out of control...but I just haven't had the time...I mean come on people, I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off and I can feel the stress wafting off me.

I’m going to ask this next visit. I guess it’s really up to the patient. My DD really doesn’t like her doctor anyway. She’s ok, but not really good for more than a basic check up & vaccinations. She botched up trying to remove a wart from DD and couldn’t really help with DDs migraines. It seems everything is a specialty doctor today. But it’s such a hassle looking for a new GP.
I go for my physical in a few weeks, I’ll ask if my doc recommends anyone or even herself?

Does she have an OB/GYN?  Maybe your dd could start by asking there?

Since she's home...you should really let her take the lead on finding a new healthcare practicioner that fits into your family's plan.  You can advise and over see.

Soon (maybe) she'll be at school and she may need to find a specialist for something....cause general practicioner's don't do squat anymore.

Yeah you’re right. I make it too easy for her. Have to work on letting those strings go. But I have the feeling it wont get done if I don’t do it, you know? I’m ok with giving it a try at least.

I get it...I really do.

It will get done....it won't be timely, or done right the first time...but you just keep poking at em.

Otherwise you have a 30 yr old who has no idea how to function in the world....and that's just wrong.  It's the perfect time now....cause you're literally right there for questions, support and reminders.
