I'm lazy, I live alone so for me, cooking is more of a chore, my microwave gets more use then my oven/stove top!

I am the exactly same way but also aim to be creative. It's easy to get bored with microwaving the same foods over and over so it's good to alternate by cooking. Preparing items such as different types of fish, burgers, pasta, rice or tacos isn't too labor intensive and work well when frozen meals aren't on the menu. Of course, there are foods like pizza and chicken that taste better from the oven (at least to me). These are both are pretty easy to fix as well.
