1 cup brown sugar          1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 

1 teaspoon salt               3 Tablespoons water


Cook mixture on medium heat till melted.

Add 2 cups pecans.  Cook 2 minutes.

Spread out & cool on parchment paper.  Place in small jars that you can buy at Dollar Tree etc.,  then tie a small bow around the neck & you are good to go.  Nice to have a little gift handy for a friend or neighbor.

 Psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst     boots ,  add 1-2 ozs    crown royal,  jack  daniels  or  ya  fave   hooch to the mix  ( rum even ) for  the  adult  variety    candy  ( you  can  even subsitute  walnuts  or make a  mixture of the  two     wink
