I have selected the Mystery Item. It used to be on my desk, and is now on the table in the living room which Dad used as a computer desk before he moved his laptop to his bedroom. I have taken over the table now. The table is old, with a metal frame, covered with a nasty old table cloth. It still has some clutter on it to the right and rear. There is another table behind me which is piled high with all sorts of stuff.

The MI can be carried in one hand, but must be held in both hands to be properly held. It cannot be concealed by hand.

The item is a clay desktop fountain.

Not clay, not a fountain. It IS intended to be on top of a desk.

Not metal, not a punch--3-hole or otherwise.

The MI is a potted plant.

Not a plant, potted or otherwise. A pot is not involved in the MI.

The MI is a desk fan.

Regrettably, no. However, there is a shared attribute.

I do have a desk fan in my room, but I haven't used it in a long time.
