Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but I notice we don't use the talk pages on Muppet Wiki anymore. I really need to nail down the date on this. The recording is from 1981, but Pam Arciero right-handed with Richard on this for the Sesame video (Jerry was sick), so it's at least 1983. Does anyone know when it aired?

According to our sources, she appeared on the show during season 16, so assuming she wasn't on a year closer to 1981 (Gayle, who recorded a song for the album, appeared in the 1982-1983 season), it debuted sometime in 1984 / 1985.

It says a lot that when i went back to watch it again just now, it's pretty clear that it's Richard puppeteering. Both he and Jerry have distinctive styles, so it's easy to tell when they're performing.

How can you tell? Can you put that into words? I'm really interested!

Richard Hunt is good with tics and nods and things like that. The little thing his characters do before they talk a lot of the time is tilt their heads a little to the side, as if they're trying to think about what they're going to say. He's also the opposite of Jerry when it comes to syllables - he's always reacting, always moving the mouth for every word (Kevin and David Rudman do that a lot as well). Jerry is more stilted, given his whole "accent every other syllable" approach, which makes it easy to tell when someone's doing one of his characters instead of him.

Huh! Thanks.

Also curious what Shane's sources are for getting the year on this?

You're of course welcome to use this space, but just FYI, talk pages on the wiki were replaced by the Forum which is linked at the top of every page.

So one can start a wiki forum page for this same sort of question? I wasn't sure.

Our page for season 16 cites this news article promoting the season, which mentions Lynn appearing that season.
