Not hiking but this picture was taken at 5200 meter in the Himalayas in Tibet. We didn't have a digital camera yet so the photo is scanned

I like the yaks too, but not yak butter! They use yak butter for candles and in monasteries many people lit a candle and walk with those. They spill it everywhere and door handles etc. are sticky, floors and stairs are slippery and the smell is yuk! When we watch our video I still can smell the yak butter ;)

Taste and smell are very strong. We had yak meat somewhere, not too bad though but I prefer beef :)
