i have a bike that has no badges on it they told me that it was a v-star Silverado and can you add different years to the bike like if you have a 2003 and you put something from a 2005

Are you asking if parts are interchangeable between years? Yes...for the most part. Some differences in the Classic and Custom...other than that there are few variations between years, but not many.

Its Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic with the Silverado package on it.  Most anything from 2000 up for classic would fit.    I think in 07 there might of been changes to mufflers on how they mount.

Do you not have the registration? How can you get plates or insurance without a VIN?

I just got it so I don't have the registration papers yet and when I bought it from the shop it said it was a v-star Silverado 1100 so I was just trying to find out what I really have

Surely they can tell you the VIN. If not, run.
