Hi all,
One of my mirrors is rattling - sounds like there's something loose inside.
I removed it from the stem and looked inside but can't see any bolt or screw.
Can they be disassembled?

No....There is a weight glued inside to stop vibration, but they are known to break loose and rattle. I had a pair that I drilled a small hole in and filled it with that spray expanding foam stuff. It definitely stopped the rattles.

I did exactly the same thing on mine, LOL!
I installed a nice button head screw in the hole to hide it.
Friends ask me what the button-head screw is for, I tell them it is the parallax adjustment. Some actually buy into it!!!
