Geez I hate to sound ignernt but I was wondering if anyone had ideas on using an OEM bar for the passing lights - without the OEM passing lights (can't find any NEW or NOS lights for an 07 classic, but I did find  a new old stock bar).

I can't seem to find the step-by-step about how to convert the turn signals to under the bar with the driving lights on top.    I would even be OK using better/brighter LED lights, but again the bits and pieces of hanging the turn signals elude me.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Make sure of the correct part number for the passing light bar for the 1100 classic.  It is different from the custom.  I spent years looking to do the same exact thing.  I finally found one a couple of years ago and did a led install instead.  Not trying to sway you from the original lights that Don has just saying the bar has to be the correct one.

Hello guys,

new to the forums here.

I bought a 2000 V Star 1100 Custom and the dude gave me the original pipes and a set of cruise lights, saying that it came with the bike when he bought it.

seems I am missing the turn lights (lower hanging) on the bar, OR the bar was as is..

now I am wondering if I can modify the bar, have it bent in a way as to not hinder the turning lights, because since it's straight it comes straight and hides the turn lights.

Thanks

the bar for the fog lights is usually on the classic. the classic turn signals will mount right to the stock fog light bar but the custom turn signals do not mount right to the fog light bar. i doubt you will be able to have the bar bent in any significant way without cracking the chrome. could you post a pic of the fog light bar? it may or may not be the stock bar. i'm sure with a bit more info there will be someone that can help you out.

That`s what I thought so,

That it`s stock for the classic...

I`ll try to take a pic tonight and post it tomorrow when I get home

Here`s The bar that was given to Me along with My bike... you guys think I could customize it more in order to bend it so it won't interfere with the turn lights ?
