Thanks for the post from Virginia Windmill59 Glad to be here On my 1st Yamaha since July . did much reading riding a 01 1100 Classic took it out today after fixing the tear air intake duct/boot it was ripped at the clamp used tire tube rubber glue and elct tape no more running rich got the new part right as I pulled in it arrived might install it in spring time now I am taking every day above fifty deg f and riding but it idles nice starts good and no popping down the road or using the choke to maintain the back firing from too much air coming in.
