Hi Donn! Congrats on the new (old) bike.

Good news! My buddy and I got the trunk on my 03 VStar 1100 cc, no problem. I took your advice and wired it to the connecting block (yellow) wire. In fact, soldered it in. 

All works great! Again, thank you for the advice. Always appreciated. 

I also sent an invite on Facebook. Cool if you accept and no worries if you dont!
