Hi All.
I am in the process of refurbishing the rear end of my 2007 bike, the swing arm is out for powder caoting, and I want to change the oil, and grease the splines of the driveshaft.
I have been reading the wiki knowledge base regarding greasing the splines, oil, etc.
Further down is a post added by Ray Major.
Section 10 shows 2 x photo's of the engine end where the rubber boot is, and from what I understand he is adding Moly grease not to the splines but around the outside of the universal joint. Is this correct, as I cannot understand why you would do this.
I am not doubting his comments, just wondering why.
