With the carbs empty, what do you expect the stabilizer to do?
They say the tank should be either full or completely empty and open. If you worry much about it drain it and then fill it up again.
I would not risk having the "stabilizer" clog the carb needles.

He never said his carbs are empty, you want them full with stabilized non ethanol fuel for storage. Same with the tank, keep it full so it doesn't rust. Stabilizer won't clog the jets if used properly.

Ok the only way I know is full tank and empty carbs (also recommended by my bike mechanic). This is the first time I am hearing this.
