Hi All,

I'm planning to replace the steering Head Bearings with Tapered Roller ones (already got them a while ago) during the off season.
I want to know if I can use (will get a new one) the OEM lower seal P/N 3FV-23462-00-00.

If not, any suggestions?

Also, there's no seal for the top bearing.
I'm assuming because of the cover P/N 4DN-23416-20-00.

That's what I figured too. The bottom of the steering head is at an angle that would make it easier to pick up water and debris from the road. 

That's what I thought as well.

Always good to have a second opinion.
