What if I just twist it around the tip of the spark plug and put the connector back in ?
would it be a fire hazard ?
Well....you could try that I guess. Sure wish you had some instructions....
Remember if it isn't for a dual fire system it will probably give false readings or not work at all.
My question will probably sound dumb, but what's the difference between a single or dual fire system,
if one coil gives 1500 rpm, the other coil gives at 1500 RPM as well yes ?
so why would the readout be false.
My (car) mechanic mind doesn't grasp this principle
It is called a wasted spark since it fires on the exhaust stroke as well.
Would this one do ?
Let me repeat what has already been said.
Scroll back to message #4 made by me and message #9 made by Donn for instructions on wiring. This wiring is for the tach's that we've pointed out that will work on the 1100.
Scroll back to message #20 for a U-Tube video on installing and wiring AND I think he lists two places to buy.
for a tach that I got and installed that worked fine ... notice in the product description that it states it works on Duel fire bikes.
The one you listed looks to be the same as the one I just linked for you above and should work but says none available.
I'll go check, with the link you provided there is 5 available on amazon. so I'll probably order that one
Thanks guys !
