I picked this up the other day. 2000 Classic for $750.00! I threw a battery in it and rode it around the block. She acts like the pilots are plugged which is very possible since it has sat for 2 years. Should be fun.

That's what I told the wife. I never see deals out this way. I did drive 500 miles round trip to Portland to get it.

Hi Donn! Congrats on the new (old) bike.
Good news! My buddy and I got the trunk on my 03 VStar 1100 cc, no problem. I took your advice and wired it to the connecting block (yellow) wire. In fact, soldered it in.
All works great! Again, thank you for the advice. Always appreciated.
