Biden's tax plans are so bad... they're even causing a drop in the value of Bitcoin!!!

Bitcoin falls below $50,000 as Biden tax plans spark crypto sell-off

Crypto markets pulled back sharply after reports US president Joe Biden is planning to raise capital gains tax for the wealthy.

Bloomberg reported on Thursday that Biden is considering nearly doubling tax to as high as 39.6%, an increase from the current 20%. Cryptocurrency investors face higher taxes if Biden presses ahead.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) crashed 10% to $49,332 (£68,482) on Friday morning in London, Ethereum (ETH-USD) slumped 11% to $2,227 after hitting record highs of £2,613 on Thursday.

Dogecoin's (DOGE) price continues its downward spiral after a few days of gains, slumping as much as 28%, it is currently trading 26% lower. XRP plummeted 20%.

Meanwhile, Coinbase (COIN) struggled to stage a rebound in New York overnight, pushing 6% lower for the fourth consecutive day.

The sell-off comes after the Deutsche Boerse (DB1.DE) said that it would delist the crypto exchange platform from the Xetra trading system and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange due to an error identified in the reference code.

While the Boerse has since backtracked on the decision, keeping Coinbase listed, it failed to trigger a recovery in its stock price.

President Trump: Republicans must not concede on debt ceiling

President Trump called on congressional Republicans not to make any concessions to Democrats on extending the debt ceiling. In a statement on Wednesday, our 45th president said the debt ceiling was the only powerful tool the GOP had in fiscal talks with the Democrats.

Trump stressed Democrat spending proposals would destroy our country and Republicans should not extend the debt ceiling unless Democrats scrapped their extravagant fiscal plans. Democrat proposed bills would increase the national debt, which by some estimates would balloon to $89 trillion dollars by 2030.

Trump went on to say, “therefore Republicans have no choice but to do what they have to do, and the Democrats will have no choice but to concede all of the horror they are trying to inflict upon the future of the United States.”

I agree, but with a majority in both chambers... it's going to be an uphill battle.

        "We’re spending trillions like candy and people wonder why inflation is spiking."

Friendly Reminder: We’re Going to Run Out of Money in Less Than a Month

How many crises can arise under the watch of President Dementia? The border is out of control. Inflation is rising. Job creation is grinding to a halt. Our allies are infuriated over our Afghanistan exit. France has recalled its ambassador over a disagreement in a US-UK-Australia defense pact. And now, we’re about to run out of money. On September 30, the government’s operating budget expires. On top of that, we need to raise the debt ceiling as well. On that issue, we’ve been heading in this direction for weeks. We failed to raise the debt limit during the summer. We’ve been in what the Treasury calls “extraordinary measures” to meet the government’s obligation, but it only lasts two-to-three months. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says that the time to do so is approaching. She warned members of Congress last week (via Daily Caller):

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned congressional leaders Wednesday that the U.S. is on track to default on its debt sometime in October if Congress fails to raise the debt ceiling.

Yellen said the Treasury would likely run out of cash in the coming weeks and exhaust its “extraordinary” spending measures to keep the country within its legal borrowing limit.

“Once all available measures and cash on hand are fully exhausted, the United States of America would be unable to meet its obligations for the first time in our history,” Yellen wrote in a letter to Democratic and Republican leadership and the chairs and ranking members of several top committees.

“Given this uncertainty, the Treasury Department is not able to provide a specific estimate of how long the extraordinary measures will last,” she continued. “However, based on our best and most recent information, the most likely outcome is that cash and extraordinary measures will be exhausted during the month of October.”

Democrats don’t care about that right now. They want to get this $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill (aka ‘human infrastructure’) passed. They don’t have the votes. Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) are “no” votes in the Senate where Democrats cannot afford to lose a single vote. It’s dead. The progressive wing in the House has insisted the $3.5 trillion price tag was the compromise version. They’re also not backing passing the bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill until the reconciliation passes. We’re spending trillions like candy and people wonder why inflation is spiking. Oh, and we’re at an impasse on which trillion-dollar bill passes first which I guess is a good sign. These bills are not good. The $1.2 trillion bipartisan package isn’t paid for, adding $256 billion in deficit spending. So, both bills suck but some version is going to pass. The only question is will it get done before the debt ceiling deadline comes due. And even then, I’ll bank on Democrats waiting to roll everything into a must-pass situation.

Voting With Their Feet: Parents Taking Their Kids Out of Traditional Public Schools in Astounding Numbers

A new report from the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools shows what a great advertisement American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten and her more radical members provided for school choice. After more than a year of school closures, Zoom classes, and battles over critical race theory, parents are increasingly taking their children out of public schools. The study looked at enrollment shifts between the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years.

Their analysis shows that 1.45 million children left traditional public schools. Charter schools gained 237,000 students in the same period. The difference is made up by families choosing private schools or homeschooling. The researchers noted that public school enrollment declines began years ago in many cities and states. Some of the loss was due to demographic changes and population decline. However, the pandemic appears to have accelerated the switch to public school alternatives.

~~~~~~~~~~~
The 7% growth experienced in charter schools was the largest seen since 2014. In the states they analyzed, the children moving to charter schools came from every racial and socioeconomic background. Arizona became the first state to have 20% of public school children enrolled in charter schools. Previously, only Washington, D.C., had reached that milestone. In California, public schools saw declines in nearly every racial subgroup, with substantial increases in Asian, Filipino, and Hispanic students transferring to charters.
The researchers say the pandemic was the reason for many of the changes. Some parents they spoke with were looking for an educational setting that fits their family’s pandemic experience. Gem Innovation Schools in Idaho expanded learning options and grade levels to meet the shifting restrictions. As parents shifted between the office and remote work, Gem allowed parents to select online or in-person schooling once a quarter.
Others became aware, thanks to the proliferation of remote classes, that curriculum taught in public schools did not match their values. In Florida, a father of five, Matt Mohler, observed his school-age children struggling with remote work and worried the curriculum would not meet their needs. The new Tallahassee Charter School opened in 2020, and after meeting with school staff, he moved his children there. Mohler shared, “Within the first week, my [then] first grader came home reciting the preamble of the Constitution. And I was blown away at the progress he was making in such a short amount of time.”
The involvement of parents in their children’s education may be the most positive outcome from the pandemic. Parents across the nation are demanding a say in the curriculum taught in their public schools. They are no longer content to leave it to so-called “experts” who seem intent on creating activists instead of skilled workers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
SICKENING: California Governor Newsom Signs Bills That Enable Children to Hide Sex Operations and Abortions From Their Parents
On Wednesday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed two bills into law that would help children be able to get certain medical procedures – such as sex operations and abortions – without their parent’s knowledge or consent.
One of the bills – AB-1184 – prohibits health insurers from requiring authorization from a child’s parents before they are able to get a procedure. The bill also makes it illegal for any communications, information, or receipts to be shared with the parents unless the child authorizes it to be disclosed.
The sickening new law is set to take effect in July of next year.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Once again, it is simply another example of a leftist, Orwellian made-up term that is meant to twist the language – It means child.

 “Protected individual” means any adult insured covered under a health insurance policy or a minor who can consent to a health care service without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, pursuant to state or federal law.

The bill doesn’t just make these life-altering procedures more available to children who have no faculty to make the decision to get them, it also mandates that insurance providers notify their policyholders that they can request a “confidential communication.”

“This bill would require a health care service plan to notify subscribers and enrollees and a health insurer to notify insureds that they may request a confidential communication in a specified format and how to make the request, and would require a health care service plan and health insurer to provide the information in a specified manner, including on the internet website of the health care service plan or health insurer.”

The other bill – AB-1356 – makes it a crime for anyone to post personal information, including photos, of any provider, patient, employee, or volunteer of a reproductive healthcare facility in the state. People who are found guilty will face up to a year behind bars and a fine of up to $10,000.

This other legislation also makes it a crime for people to “videotape, film, photograph, or record by electronic means” any person associated with a reproductive health facility inside their property or within 100 feet of the entrance.

This bill would also make it a crime, within 100 feet of the entrance to or within a reproductive health services facility, to intentionally videotape, film, photograph, or record by electronic means a reproductive health services patient, provider, or assistant, as defined, with the specific intent to intimidate a person from becoming or remaining a reproductive health services patient, provider, or assistant.

Newsom signing the pair of bills comes at a questionable time. The text of the law had been in place since February of this year, which means he could have easily signed it at any point before now – It’s no surprise that he waited until after pulling a fast one in the recently rigged California recall election to sign this radical law.

         “I hope the teachers resigning because of COVID insanity and CRT stuff are aware of their ABSURD market value. There are MILLIONS of parents who want their kids educated by someone like you. Start a group home schooling business. Do private tutoring.”

Teachers Leaving Schools Over Medical Tyranny and CRT Now Have HIGH Market Value

There have been so many sad stories coming out of Pandemic Panic Theater as well as the filthy residue of anti-white racism, also known as Critical Race Theory. Teachers in particular have been hit hard as they’re being forced to decide between what they know is right and what governments, school boards, and their peers are telling them to do.

But there’s a silver lining, as Jesse Kelly from The First noted on Twitter:

“I hope the teachers resigning because of COVID insanity and CRT stuff are aware of their ABSURD market value. There are MILLIONS of parents who want their kids educated by someone like you. Start a group home schooling business. Do private tutoring.”

He is correct. There are plenty of parents seeking teachers who are willing to ignore the mandates and pressure applied on both the Covid-19 and Cultural Marxist fronts. I’ll take it as step further and say that teachers who oppose medical tyranny and racist indoctrination could find enough donors or big-money sponsors to start schools in their area, or to be relocated to other areas where such schools are already launching.

The same can be said about healthcare professionals, though launching a clinic or small hospital has many more logistic and financial challenges than launching a school. Nevertheless, it could be done. In fact, it SHOULD be done. I, for one, would love to take my family to a vaccine-free clinic staffed with talented, unindoctrinated medical professionals.

The universal vaccination crowd and the Cultural Marxist crowd are often one in the same. They are pushing for a segregated America in which those of us who believe in medical freedom and racial equality are exorcized from their midst. We must fight this, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t also start working on the backup plans in case they reach critical mass and successfully eject us from society.

         "forbids banning abortions on the basis of a baby’s race, sex, or disability,"

          They left out "eye color." They could call this the "legalized eugenics bill."

House Democrats vote to codify Roe v. Wade, legalize abortion on demand

The bill forbids states from subjecting abortion to ultrasound requirements, mandatory waiting periods, informed-consent requirements, and other health and safety rules.

Driven by fears that the Supreme Court may be on the verge of overturning the landmark pro-abortion ruling Roe v. Wade, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 218-211 Friday to pass legislation that would enshrine abortion on demand in federal law.

In December, the nation’s highest court will begin hearing oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which concerns Mississippi’s HB 1510 law banning abortions from being committed past 15 weeks for any reason other than physical medical emergencies or severe fetal abnormalities. Abortion defenders argue it violates the judicially-created “right” to pre-viability abortions; pro-lifers hope the case will finally lead to the reversal of Roe.

In May, House Democrats reintroduced the so-called Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), purportedly to prepare for such a future, though it would go much further than granting the tenets of Roe statutory legitimacy.

The legislation, which has been repeatedly introduced over the past several years without being acted upon, establishes a federal statutory right to perform and obtain abortions, including after fetal viability (under the broad cover of “health”), and specifically forbids states from subjecting abortion to ultrasound requirements, mandatory waiting periods, informed-consent requirements, and other health and safety regulations, such as admitting privileges.

The WHPA also protects so-called “webcam” abortions (i.e., dispensing abortion pills without an in-person doctor’s visit), forbids banning abortions on the basis of a baby’s race, sex, or disability, and forbids banning particular techniques such as dilation and evacuation (D&E) procedures, better known as “dismemberment” abortions because they entail literally ripping unborn babies apart in the womb, then removing them from the uterus limb by limb.

~~~~~~~~~~
That means that, for now, the future of abortion law remains in the Supreme Court’s hands. Many pro-lifers see the upcoming Mississippi case as the greatest test yet of the current justices, a majority of whom were appointed by Republican presidents yet have still disappointed pro-lifers and conservatives on various occasions.
Only Justice Clarence Thomas is explicitly on the record as anti-Roe, and only he and Justice Samuel Alito have established consistently conservative records over a significant period of time.
