Since California has been having earthquakes in different areas lately, you all should check with your state and find out if any earthquakes would pertain to you, and get instructions how to stay safe....Earthquakes can cause a lot of damage, depending on the fault line, how deep it is, and how long the fault line is....

Never run outside, you could get hit with fallen objects, When you feel a earthquake drop, and get under a sturdy desk, or table, and stay away from windows, and objects that could fall on you....Your safety is important....If you are outside get to an open space, away from anything that could collapse, and fall on you....

Know how to turn off your gas lines in case you get a odor of gas in your house, and know how to turn off the main water valve....If your driving pull off the road and stay in the car away from trees, buildings, or electric lines, till the shaking stops....

Always keep a supply of food and water, for your family, and your pets. in case of an earthquake, or any disaster, keep meds handy if you are taking them every day, and have a first aid kit handy, in case of injuries....After the shaking stops check on your neighbors, to be sure they are okay, and keep your cell phone with you to check on other members of your family and friends who live away from your area....

Earthquakes do happen as they have in some states, without warning....Be prepared, at all times....

Let's hope these fault lines stay asleep....
