Mighty Heart, one-eyed horse, just won the 2nd leg of the Canadian Triple Crown- How couldn't you love a horse with this name?

A very beautiful article about Big Brown (dated 2016)- The photos of him are breathtaking--- it is really a lovely story about this lovely horse----After reading the article i think the Detention barn and the heat did him in at the Belmont

A question for you, please.  Does not concern Airstreem at all.  I follow the progeny of Encaustic because of his breeding  (full to Include).  Most of them are in the Finger Lakes races, but today It's Your Call ran at Thistledown.  Results came thru and the number of lengths he lost by is dramatic.  The comments said  "Got out, thru after a half."  Could you please tell me what that means since I am not familiar with that term.  Sounds as if he ran off on the outside rail or something.  Thanks for enlightening me.  Hope you and family are doing well.

It sounds like he got out of the gate fast, but got tired by the half, so maybe too fresh and not settling/listening to the jockey?

Yes, we're all fine here, hope it is the same for you? Yes

Thank you for your insight on the notes for this colt.  I see that Kandy Charge was a good 2nd just now at Thistledown.

Glad you are all doing well;  things a good here, just cold at night now.
