 This is a nice story about how Dr. Richardson performed 2 surgeries on Green Mask who is living out his days at Old Friends: His initial injury was extremely serious involving the sesamoids.

 Great article about California Chrome and how much his groom loves him:  We learned that California Chrome is excited by Grey mares!!! 

Have not read article yet, but didn't War Emblem show some interest in gray mares?  Altho he showed almost no interest in any mare!

That was a great update on Chrome! I’m glad he has a new groom that loves him!

 I am so glad Chrome is in such loving  hands--- I don't know much about War Emblem's favorite mares- I was of the impression he wasn't much interested. Loved him too- he was a beautiful black fiery horse-- I do love the story of Chrome and his preference for grey mares---
