You're right - Ernie is just one of the lucky HFER horses. Others are waiting for their forever homes and some will remain there to ensure their safe, happy lives.

OMG, Pia! I will always remember Ernie. The picture of him and Viet asleep in the barn is embossed in my mind's eye forever. I am so glad I got to meet Cheri and Viet in person.
Ernie is positively stunning!! Might as well make his head as big as possible. Please give him a hug and a treat from me.
