I agree. Unless he has an injury this is nuts.

This is good news to Canadians.  I knew about Court Vision, but not a peep about Victor's Cry.  I'm very happy to hear this.

The horse racing industry (and now it IS an industry rather than a sport) then wonders why there aren't more fans, the fan base keeps dropping off, no young people interested.

One only needs to read the history of horses like Seabiscuit, Whirlaway and other stallions who were participating in the Sport of Kings to RACE, not to BREED.

Its all about $$, like so many other things (NBA) now....

I agree with you. I think that just when fall in love with the horses, they are soon retired. I wish they would race longer, as long as they're healthy and want to run.

Nan CCCCCCCCCCC...

Have I met you before?  I don't think so, I'll introduce mySelf, Blum Gone, runner of 157 races.

I agree with you, healthy and want to run.  Sometimes I wasn't healthy, but I ran anyway.  I was pin fired lots of times.  I had no other value as a gelding, but to run.

Mummy says she's glad she found me since she has lots of love to give me, and I love her too.  Today, its way cooler than its been & I'm kicking up my heels and giving her a hard time. <snort>

Click here and then "gallery" to see more photos of me and my ole lady, Touche.  Oh...and Mummy...

Jiminy Crickets! Geesh, another 3 yr old.......what is this racing world come to?? I don't think I would be plunking down mega bucks, to breed to a horse that was injured while only a 3 yr old......maybe bringing Lonhro here will help, as he is advertised as an "old school" type of horse...of course, it doesn't hurt when you are built similar to a quarter horse, lol, he is a very sturdy boy!
