I have always believed that .... wasn't it the same thing that got the great Hickstead?  It really seems that it has to be some sort of undetected birth defect in the heart ...

Yes, same thing with Hickstead.  That shocked me!  I had just watched a replay the night before of Hickstead with my family and we were all talking about him and then the news the next day.

No, it does not end and things like this you can't stop and probably can't prevent either.  All of us have to come to terms with the loss part in our own ways.  It's the flip side of the love we feel for them and the beauty of their sport isn't it?
