I’m so pissed  at all of them!  Now that the story is out there maybe the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners will look into this even though the connections did not. The public will want to know how this ineptitude that resulted in the death of the stallion could have happened.

I find it hard that the owners and Winstar wouldn’t investigate, it seems they thought there wouldn’t be an issue with getting the insurance to pay the mortality insurance. And for Winstar to state they’ve been around for twenty years, you would think they would be outraged that this happened?! To just sweep it under the rug  like it’s an everyday occurrence is kind of mind boggling.

RIP Zippy

GREENFIELD CENTER, NY – APRIL 16, 2022 – Zippy Chippy, horse racing’s most loveable loser, has died.
A retiree at Old Friends at Cabin Creek in Greenfield Center, NY., a satellite of Kentucky’s Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement, the son of Compliance was 31.

He lived a long life and was loved and cared for in his "retirement"
