Unfortunately, in the 8th race at Gulfstream today, Bo Derek fell in the stretch and had to be euthanized.:( 2 other horses also fell but they both appear to be okay. Their jockeys are okay, but Jesus Rios goes to the hospital to get checked out. My condolences to the connections of Bo Derek.

Industry Pioneer Payson Dies at 92
Successful Thoroughbred owner and breeder Virginia Kraft Payson died Jan. 9 in Central Kentucky, according to friends and acquaintances. She was 92.

Report: Stallion Air Support Dies From Bee Attack
U.S. graded stakes winner Air Support was one of two stallions who died in India last week after "thousands of bees" attacked them at India's Kunigal Stud Farm, the Times of India reported. Air Support was 15.

What a dreadful fate for these two horses. Am very sorry to all who are currently associated with both and also to their breeders and trainers and others who knew them before they went to India.
