Hall of Fame racehorse Xtra Heat died in December, according to a release from Woodford Thoroughbreds. She was 24.

Family will send Alex’s brain to be checked, his sister had said he complained often that he had fell on his head multiple times.
His girlfriend and thei children are being evicted, a go fund me has been started.

Eye of the Tiger, a two-time graded-stakes winner, was found dead in his paddock early Saturday morning, March 18, 2023 at Old Friends in Georgetown, Ky. Necropsy results are pending.
Michael Blowen, founder and president of Old Friends, made the announcement on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Eye of the Tiger was 23-years old and had been at the farm since June 27, 2016.

HRN Horse-Races.Net sadly announces the passing of our long time photographer Vanessa Ng. She suffered a massive stroke in mid October and was in hospital ever since. She had another one on Friday night and could not be revived. She will be missed.
