Just came across this and thought it was nice.  Sad but a nice thing to say.

One of the Reasons I Love Elate so much is because reminds me Go-Go and Blame

GoGo and Johnny V are my favorites  I would love to ride with him and learn from him #RIP

Hollendorfer May be able to train at Del Mar. they’re in talks with him and “the balls in Jerry’s court”. I mean what’s the deal? So confusing with being kicked out of Stronach tracks, but no suspensions, NY backs out of letting him race, now it seems he’s being handed ultimatums/deals at Del Mar? There has to be something he’s doing outside  guidelines of proper care/training of race horses?

Evidently he’s being made a precedent, and seems there’s nothing he can do about it?

Heres the full article from DRF

He is entitled to due process and there are no charges pending as to neglect. Honestly imho Stronach did it to quiet the A/R groups.

I think his leg may have been from the #8 horse who was just behind out of the gate. Eskenforit actually finished the race first- I would bet him in the next race!
