Rillito Racetrack (Tucson,Az) implemented a Wellness program and had NO breakdowns during their winter meet. Protocols sound similar to what Stronach Group is trying to do.

Since the same group owns both racetracks, it would be sensible that they have the same protocols. But, even the enforcement of scratching a horse, would that not need other organizations’ approval as well? I’m glad they’re doing this, and since they own many of the biggest tracks, it’s like they will be the governing body to start with? I wonder when/if they do the same st Gulfstream?
