I wonder if Quality Road is having fertility problems? It seems Cavorting was mated but barren, Rachel’s Valentina was also barren for a foal this year to him too. Or maybe, the StoneStreet girls don’t care for him? :)

He maybe slightly low but you never know. It’s not like dogs where we test progesterone levels in blood sample. Horses is more of a timing and with just one cover you can miss or they do not take the first time and decide not to send them back to give them a break.

 I was just going to post that article. What do you think about it? I like the cap on breeding. I hate that so many horses are overbred- it makes me sad.

I like the cap. I think it will give existing big sires’ sons more mares and stallions with similar bloodlines more bookings too? 
 

I’m sure if they win their lawsuit, the peta people will be picketing......
