She won today! Not claimed but I haven’t watched the race yet as I was working, just got home.

Macy's Attitude finished 1st by 4 1/4 lengths, on November 8, 2017, at MOUNTAINEER CASINO RACETRACK & RESORT in Race 1.
Off odds: 2.70

Was very surprised since she must be tired after racing four times since October 4.  Way too many races for today's race horses to be expected to run.  At least she did very well in two of them with this win and one second.

Did you see that Nicanor's daughter Andrea's Hope ran at Penn Natl. tonight and was 7th?  These bottom level tracks, wow.

What I wish is that the Jackson's would breed at least two  fine mares to each of the boys and give them a chance at producing something really nice.  I do believe that Calumet tried a bit with Lentenor, breeding him to daughters of Gone West and Smoke Glacken and perhaps others.  However, no one will breed fantastic mares to these boys unless the Jacksons try it.

I know that a fine mare is beyond precious, but still.....   It is the only way.  I guess I just despair of seeing these progeny in $5,000 claimers at Mountaineer and Penn Natl.

The Jacksons own Small Rebellion, a daughter of Nicanor.  She hasn't raced yet but a friend of mine who saw her at Tampa Downs last winter said the Delacour staff feel she looks exactly like Nicanor.

Check out a Rouge Dancer.  She has raced once at Indiana Grand and won!  She is a 2 yr old daughter of Lentenor.

Also, Nicanor has a son named Nicamore who has come close to breaking his maiden and he is gorgeous.

Thank you for the response.   In his last three Nicamore has a last, next to last and 3rd in which he weakened late.  Was glad to see Rouge Danger beginning her career recently and to garner a first in a MSW was great.  Did you know her birthday is April 29!

Since the Jacksons own Small Rebellion I have hope that she will be a runner.  She just worked at Fair Hill two days ago.

Do you have any opinions about any of the mares the boys have been bred to?  Which ones are the best-producing, etc.  I can see which are well-bred, but have not delved into the production records of these mares.

Nica Coque (2016) by Nic x Coquettish (Not for Love) interests me.  Her dam had a daughter by Stephen Got Even who earned $255,000.  I love Not for Love and really hope this youngster turns out well.

Please alert us to any newly-discovered get from either boy.  I have gotten into the habit of letting Gerchgo know of any I find.

I know Nicamore was 3rd on Nov 7th. That is not his only top 4 finish.

Right, he has done okay, esp. for having run so often this year.  I looked up his record just now and he has hit the board in almost 1/3 of his starts with two 1st, two 2nd and one 3rd in 2017.

Interesting that the breeding was repeated with Nicanore and The Great Tyler so breeders must like the outcome.  Nicamore is her best winner so far, with about $35,000 in purse money.

I researched The Great Tyler when Nicamore first showed up since I was not familiar with Doneraile Court.  He's by Seattle Slew and a number of his get are in Chile.  So, don't know if he shuttled or spent some years there.

They recently sold a Nicanor - Great Tyler yearly I believe.

Time for Macy's Attitude to run again.  She is entered in a claimer at Mountaineer on Nov. 22.
