Just watched Kandy Charge get up for 2nd at Mountaineer.    I always forget that this track changes the horse's number if there is a scratch.  I had him down as #4 and that horse broke poorly.  Following the race call I realized that Kandy Charge was now #3 and he was in the race pretty well.  Glad he was at least 2nd!

Jock pulled back then let him run from there. He had to really encourage him but got it done. I wonder if maybe he needs a horse in front to go after,  maybe stalls out when on the lead?
