 Monmouth needs to fall in line with tracks that are doing what is right for the horse- hopefully there will be enough pressure that they will do the right thing.

I hope Monmouth cancels too. Here in Philly, it is to be on Saturday 100 degrees with heat index of 115-120 and the shore is usually about 10 degrees cooler...much to hot for horse racing!

Right now the temp is 95 degrees and the heat index 116 degrees  in Shelbyville, IN where racing is scheduled for this afternoon as usual at Indiana Grand.

I cannot believe all the hot weather we all experienced. I was in all weekend due to heat indexes from 110-120 in the Philadelphia area.
