Spun Intended sustained a non - life threatening injury yesterday- thank goodness he is doing well

Good news! Unfortunately, quite a few injuries and fatalities this past weekend, I hope that trend stops now!

Yes, very sad - too many injuries this past weekend

Sometimes I wonder why I keep watching horse racing. These deaths leave me so sad- but when I watch those magnificent horses race around the track in all their magnificent glory, I know why I stick around. I just wish some of those injuries result in the horse being euthanized.  They really are so fragile in some ways.

 I didnt finish my thought: I wish those injuries did not result in the horse having to be euthanized.

Looked to me like Echo Again was injured as he seemed to be pulled up; I hope they give us an update on his condition, He was leading and then you could see him just back up and finally he was eased or pulled up.  Maybe the jockey decided to ease him cause he was obviously not going to win, or there is something wrong with him. Hoping he is ok.

I rewound watched again, he didn’t seem to have a bad step and when Tyler got him pulled up, he seemed to be cantering toward wire. With Gabby on-site , we should get an update. He may have bled or started roaring?
