The story of The Player's miraculous recovery from his life-threatening injury has provided inspiration and joy to me this year. There were so many awful losses that brought so many tears, that his recovery and now his going to stud, has provided  happiness and hope for other horses that have the opportunity to be saved.

I have been closely following Angus’s journey of recovery from that life threatening injury praying he would survive.  I am filled  with gratitude for the loving attention and dedication. provided by Buff and the expert care given to Angus by the LSU medical facility. Angus himself is such a hero , being able to know how to  administer self care with his cooperative and calm nature.  With all the sad stories from the racing world and beyond, my heart is warmed and spirit uplifted  by this special horse’s survival.  I hope he will pass on his great genes as a stud.
