Arlington's Secretariat Stakes (G1T) is being cut back to a one-mile distance on the turf with a bump to a $500,000 purse for this year's running in response to the New York Racing Association's creation of a Turf Triple Crown series.

That dam Churchill is screwing up racing in Illinois, not applying for gaming license, says racing is only guaranteed thru 2021. Someone else should buy it, but there is to be another casino track built in my county and rumor has it as being 20 min from my house! Hopefully it will and I won’t have to go as far!
