Dr Bramlage has completed his study.
In a new report published by the Breeders' Cup, Dr. Larry Bramlage said "there were opportunities to remove Mongolian Groom from competition" ahead of the Nov. 2 Breeders' Cup Classic that could have prevented the gelding's breakdown.

It’s a shame all those vets didn’t take time to watch the video clip that XBTV to see off stride of MG. It boggles my mind to think of the number of horses racing that could have potential injuries such as his. I’m hoping this pushes tracks and training centers to get the new bone scans that SA has now. All horse racing should get a base scan done.

It's a shame he was entered after being "off" on 10/31.
More consistent veterinary attention and more vets working big events will help. Appreciate that this was published.
