That was a really good effort from Nadal after a win only three weeks ago. The horse who ran with him ran a great race. A son of Shackleford.

Nadal definitely looked great and will get a nice condition base with that win. Baffert was saying he may have been a little bit light going into the race.

GM wins his race today and was only 2/100 second off the track record. Watching the race live I was not sure he was fit enough on the final turn but he straightened out and did open up his stride and ran a good race off a lay-off.
