Oh well, maybe next year "Derby Bob" won't win the Derby ;-)  This  was his weak lineup year. I really didn't think Medina Spirit had much of a chance, then the rest of the field seemed to have all sorts of things go wrong. It was at least fun to read of MS's modest beginnings.

Agree.:). I think MS showed tons of heart, especially in the stretch! I wish him well as he continues his quest for the TC and beyond!
